About this project

Unicorn Jump is our own platform game, from first sketch to publication in both app stores. It shows what we can build besides websites and portals: a complete game with touch controls, worlds with end bosses, a builder that lets players create their own levels, and a shop with characters and special levels.

The challenge lay in the whole chain: one codebase for Android and iOS, accounts with Google and Apple sign-in, in-app purchases in Google Play and App Store Connect, and the review procedures of both stores. Level 1 is free and playable straight away without an account.

What we built

✓Six worlds, each with its own atmosphere and end boss, plus four special levels

✓Touch controls with a direction pad and jump, dash and fireball buttons

✓Level builder: drag from the palette, draw with one finger, test straight away

✓Five playable characters with their own powers, available for crystals or real money

✓One Flutter codebase for Android and iOS, with its own API and dev environment
